Kelly is a graduate from the University of Hartford; The Hartt School where she received her BFA in Ballet Pedagogy. Before College she trained at New England School of Dance in Manchester, New Hampshire for 12 years, and attended Summer Intensives at The Rock School for Dance Education, Point Park University, Pantos Project, Limòn Italia in Rome, Italy and most recently Doug Varone and Dancers. She competed in various dance and ballet competitions including American Dance Awards and Youth American Grand Prix traveling to Hollywood, Florida, New York City, and Boston, Massachusetts. Kelly has recently performed “What Happened at the Garden Party” choreographed by Calvin Bittner at Jacob’s Pillow in Becket, Massachusetts. She has also been cast in works choreographed by Emily Schoen, Norbert de la Cruz III, Lucy Bowen McCauley, Brian Arias, Elizabeth McMillian, Susan Case, Alison Smith, Kaleigh Jones, Stephen Pier, and Debra Collins Ryder. Her one true inspiration to become a dance teacher came from her first ballet teacher, Susan Case. Her nurturing yet strict and rigorous teaching style shaped Kelly into the dancer and teacher she is today. Kelly aspires to be the kind of teacher for her students that Susan Case was for her.
