What is Mini Mester?
Mini Mester at The Dance Company is a fun, 9-week dance program designed for families looking for a shorter commitment while still enjoying the full recital experience! These classes are different than our traditional season. Mini Mester offers themed classes that keep dancers engaged and excited each week. At the end of the session, Mini Mester students shine in their very own special recital performance on 6/1, making it the perfect way to experience the joy of dance without the year-long commitment!
Get ready to dance, groove, and sparkle like a true Troll! This high-energy 8-week hip hop class will have dancers popping, locking, and breaking it down to fun, upbeat music from everyone’s favorite Trolls movies! Perfect for ages 5-8, this class is all about big moves, bright vibes, and nonstop fun!

Little tumblers, get ready to flip, fly, and soar just like Rainbow Dash! In this 9-week My Little Pony-themed tumble class, our tiniest tumblers (ages 2-3) will build strength, balance, and coordination while having a blast with pony-powered moves! Join the fun and let’s fly to new heights!

With a swish of the wand and a little magic, your tiny dancer will twirl into the world of Cinderella in this 9-week ballet class! Perfect for ages 2-3, this class introduces ballet basics through imaginative play, graceful moves, and fairy tale fun! Get ready to dance your dreams—no glass slippers required!

Sprinkle on some pixie dust and get ready to flip, roll, and fly like Tinker Bell! In this 9-week acro class, dancers ages 3-6 will build strength, balance, and tumbling skills while exploring the magic of movement. With a little faith, trust, and acro dust, we’ll jump, cartwheel, and soar through Neverland!

Close your eyes, make a wish, and dance into a world of magic! In this 9-week ballet class, dancers ages 3-5 will twirl, leap, and sparkle to the enchanting music of Disney’s Wish! With graceful moves and fairy tale fun, this class is perfect for little dreamers ready to let their wishes take flight!

Are you ready to flip, twirl, and sparkle just like Glinda the Good? In this 9-week acro class, dancers ages 5-8 will defy gravity with tumbles, balances, and soaring tricks—all with a touch of Glinda’s signature glitz and glam! With a little magic and momentum, we’ll mix strength, flexibility, and fun for an acro adventure that’s simply “thrillifying!” Because when you add a little glitter, anything is possible!

Shhh…we DO talk about Bruno—especially when it’s time to flip, roll, and groove! In this high-energy 9-week acro pop class, dancers ages 3-6 will tumble to the rhythm, mastering fun tricks, balance skills, and dynamic moves inspired by the magic of Encanto! Get ready to jump, twist, and let the beat drop—because this class is full of surprises, just like Bruno’s visions!

Recital show: Sunday 06/01- Time TBD (morning).
*Recital on 6/1 is a ticketed event the cost of tickets to the show are additional. More information on ticket sales will be available soon.
Dress code:
-Shoes are optional for Mini Mester classes (bare feet for recital)
-Dance clothing is preferred, but clothing that allows the body to move easily is welcome (leggings, unitard, shorts, form fitted clothing not baggy)
