Priority Access (Current Families Only)

Tickets go on sale Sunday, May 3, 2026

  • You’ll receive your Priority Access Code via email on Saturday May 2nd, 2026
  • This code is required to purchase tickets and should not be shared
  • Tickets are released in 4 waves to allow for fair access to multiple shows
  • Shows 1-5: Each family may purchase 6 tickets per show during Priority Access
  • Our theaters are small, and this system ensures all families have the same access
  • NOTE!  Show 6: there is no limit to the number of tickets each current TDC family can purchase during Priority Access

Priority WAVE I – 5/3 at 4:15pm ET (seniors)
Priority WAVE II – 5/3 at 4:30pm ET (volunteers, staff)
Priority WAVE III – 5/3 at 5:00pm ET (Show 1, Show 6)
Priority WAVE IV – 5/3 at 5:15pm ET (Show 2, Show 4)
Priority WAVE V – 5/3 at 5:30pm ET (Show 3, Show 5)

 

Open to public – no codes needed: 5/4 at 9:30am ET

Show 1: $22 + fee ($2.20)

Bracelet Procedure

Bracelet Pick Up Week: May 16-22

Bracelets must be worn to recital shows.

Every dancer ages 11 and under will receive a white bracelet with their name and number, in an envelope. Dancers with quick changes will also receive a colored bracelet corresponding to their show, indicating their quick change. 

hair and makeup

Hairstyle for all shows: Low bun with a center part. Click here for a photo example.

Makeup: We recommend stage makeup for all dancers consisting of pink blush, light contour, smokey eye shadow, black mascara, and red lipstick so dancer’s features aren’t washed out by the stage lights.

shoes & Tights

Recital shoe requirements are the same as dance class dress code.

Ballet/pointe classes: Pink ballet shoes

Jazz/theater classes: Nude jazz shoes

Tap classes: Black tap shoes

Hip Hop petite and younger: All white sneakers

Hip Hop level A-F: All black sneakers

All other classes (including Mini Mester): Bare feet

Tights for all ballet/pointe classes: Pink footed

Tights for ALL other classes: Nude stirrup

Who

Opening number is open to all TDC dancers ages 8 and older!

When

Mandatory opening number rehearsal will be on Friday, May 22nd from 4:00-7:00pm at TDC.

Costumes

Dancers should wear their own pastel colored shirt and black leggings/long pants. Bare feet. Please see costume inspo here! We will provide costume accessories.

Opening number is a super fun routine that opens every recital show! It is not required for dancers to participate in every show. They may perform in the show(s) they are already in! Sign up under “drop-ins”. $30 participation fee.
